What a champion So You Think was, the Australian Racing Hall Of Fame member who sadly died last spring (this filly from his second last full crop) doing a remarkable job winning his first Gr.1 W.S Cox Plate at just his fourth start and his second at his ninth!

Going on to another eight memorable Gr.1 winners locally and in England and Ireland, So You Think has done a great job passing on his quality to his progeny with 68 stakes winners; 12 of those being Gr.1 horses.

This filly, with the trademark So You Think forelock, is out of the proven broodmare Kylia, an imported daughter of the classy sprinter Mr Greeley - a successful stallion who has fared exceptionally well as a broodmare sire with six Gr.1 winners amongst the 100 stakes winners produced by his daughters.

Kylia's first five foals bred in the northern hemisphere are all winners, two of them earning black-type. Her first Australian foal is a full brother to this filly; a two-year-old called Big Trouble who is showing talent at the jump-outs.

Kylia is a half-sister out of the Indian Ridge mare Anja to seven winners including the import Great House - winner of the Gr.3 Hotham Handicap at Flemington and the Gr.3 Newcastle Gold Cup - and the French Gr.3 winner Aboulie.

Also grandam of the Group winners Panama Red and Mustajeeb - and third dam of the dual Gr.3 winner Mutasarref - Anja is out of the Gr.3 winning Riverman mare Allez Les Trois - dam of the Gr.1 French Derby hero Anabaa Blue and ancestress of fellow Gr.1 winners Los Angeles, Tamayuz, Santiago and Eshaada.

Allez Les Trois' half-sister did pretty well too! Well that's an understatement - that mare being the Gr.1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner Urban Sea whose four Gr.1 winners including the superstar stallions Galileo and Sea The Stars.

16 of So You Think's stakes winners including his Gr.1 winners Quick Thinker and You Wahng are out of mares carrying a strain of Never Bend (sire of Riverman) who also features in the pedigree of High Chaparral, as does his half-brother Bold Reason; providing for a cross of the Kentucky Oaks winner Lalun.

Another lovely mare duplicated in this filly's pedigree is the influential Mixed Marriage who appears via her son Atan (in High Chaparral) and great grandson Gone West (sire of Mr Greeley). This High Chaparral/Gone West combo has been well represented by 27 stakes winners including the Gr.1 winners Toronado, Sahlan, Molly Bloom and Wyndspelle.

Other fine mares duplicated in the background of this filly's deep pedigree include Sweet Lavender, Marchetta, Chelandry, Mixed Marriage, Gibside Fairy, Lady Josephine, Mumtaz Mahal, Queen Mary, Frizette, Sceptre and Maid Of Masham (ancestress of Kylia).
